This project involved the design and digital fabrication of a high-fidelity MP3 player inspired by an iconic audio product. Using 3D printing and laser cutting, we developed a fully realized prototype in which concept, construction, interaction, and documentation form a coherent user experience. The design draws inspiration from the Bang & Olufsen Beosound Explore, a rugged portable speaker built for outdoor use. Its premium sound quality, durable materials, and waterproof form informed our focus on robustness, usability, and refined industrial design.
